Jolly Mixers Fellowship Hall
Camellia Room
The Jolly Mixers was organized to encourage senior adults to participate in Bible study, fellowship and to serve Christ and the community. This class is made up of people 55 and older, but age is not a requirement. They have several ongoing projects and keep in touch with the needs of their fellow class members and church members.

Nursery Care

Nursery care is provided during Sunday Worship and Sunday School in the Education Building.

Junior Church

After the Children's Moment (about halfway through the worship service) the children are invited to go downstairs with a supervising adult for Junior Church. This includes a Bible lesson and is usually accompanied by a craft project. Junior Church is followed by Sunday School classes.

Other Opportunities for Children and Youth

Gods Kids is a children's choir that occasionally performs in worship serivces. Children have an opportunity to celebrate God's love through music. They practice downstairs in te Fellowship Hall music room just before Sunday School.

Each year, the children present an Annual Christmas Play that tells the message of Christ's birth and God's love for us. There are parts for all who wish to participate: speaking parts, supporting parts, singing parts, and backstage roles.

Vacation Bible School is an annual adventure that helps kids explore Bible truths in a fun and exciting way. VBS is usually held at the end of June, Monday through Thursday in the early evening (it is cooler, and working adults can also participate). Children 3 years old through 5th grade are invited to participate.

Our district has many outstanding Summer Camps. There are choices for all age levels starting with third grade. Each camp provides a chance to fellowship and learn about God in a beautiful outdoor setting.

Youth going into 9th grade through 12th grade should consider Sierra Service Project. The Sierra Service Project organizes construction and repair projects on Native American homes, and now has an urban site in Los Angeles. Sierra Service Project (SSP) has been providing spiritually enriching youth service experiences for teenagers since 1975. In the process, they have improved the housing conditions and affected the lives of hundreds of families living on Native American reservations and rancherias in the Western United States. Throughout the years, countless bonds of friendship and love have been created. This is a richly rewarding combination of camp and selfless service.

College age youth and young adults should consider the Honduras mission trip with Sierra Service Project. Individuals can register (without a group, as is required for the High School and Junior High programs) for this powerful two week session. College credit may be available.
